Drop-Ins, appointments or home visits: provide information, advice and support for unpaid carers.

Carers Support Groups: across the city. Our staff are experienced information and advice workers. We support carers and give advice on benefits related to caring and to disability issues. We can offer emotional support to help carers ''through the system''.

Time for Carers Fund: Carers can apply for up to £200 towards the cost of a holiday or short break for the carer. An application can be made once every 3 years.

Bi-monthly newsletter: for carers

Minority Ethnic Support Worker: meets carers in their homes and at different community venues.

Hospital Based Support Worker: can offer support and advice in hospital settings.

Carers Cafe: holds events like Carers Week and Carers Rights Day.

Training and awareness raising: for professionals who work with carers.

Moving On Group: a social group run for carers who have ceased caring recently or for carers who care for someone who has moved into alternative care. It aims to support people through transition in their caring role.
