Housing

This section covers the different housing options for people with a learning disability in Leeds.
You can find help on the following:
Supported Living: to help you become independent in your local community. You can live in your own home and have personal support from an organisation or personal assistant.
Independent Living: The Independent Living Project (ILP) helps more than 340 people from 13 hostels across Leeds. They support people with a learning disability or mental health needs to take more control of their lives and have more choice about where they live.
Housing Providers: Information about council and private housing, housing associations, supported housing, repairs and improvements.
Housing Support: You can use housing benefit to pay for some or all of your rent. You may also get some extra money towards things like children’s play areas and cleaning communal (shared) areas of your home.
