Many people with profound learning disabilities cannot use standard disabled toilets. They may need support from one or two carers to use the toilet, or a height adjustable changing bench. They may also need a hoisting system so they can get safely from their wheelchair to the toilet or changing bench. This is why people in Leeds have joined the Changing Places campaign in order to make Leeds toilets more accessible.
