Advonet and partners are holding an event to help raise the awareness of advocacy.

The event aims to explain how advocacy can help people with who feel they have little control or power to fix some of the problems that they are facing.

There will also be workshops focussing on specific topics such as,

  • Advocacy.
  • Mental Health.
  • Refugees and Advocacy.
  • Helping People Address Poverty.

There will be hour long training session on, advocacy principles, statutory advocacy and self-advocacy.

The event is for you, if you want to understand more about advocacy and explore how it can be threaded through the diverse health, social care and community support across the city.
