We are proud of our inclusive atmosphere, where people with learning disabilities are an important group. Our services are for people who enjoy practical activities outdoors with a group of like minded people. We match peoples capabilities and interests to our projects.
Everyone comes to the Centre for an informal interview with the Volunteer Coordinator. You can come with your carer or support worker.
Full day projects run from 9.30 to 5pm.
Landowners pay for the work we do and this funds the minibus and group leaders. Our experienced staff will teach you how to do anything you haven't done before.
Please note some sites can have difficult access or limited toilet facilities.
Wednesday afternoon group maintain the wildlife and vegetable gardens at the Centre and prepare them for our open days. If whole days are too challenging try these.
The Hollybush project is open to adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Members attend for Tuesday and Wednesday OR Thursday and Friday. Most places are funded by Self Directed Support.
