'Enable people with learning disabilities and their families to have greater choice and control over where and how they live.'

Government White Paper - 'Valuing People'

Chapter 9 A Place To Live

(home Symbol)

The Government has said that there should be lots of different housing choices available. These should be the same as other people's choices. Everyone needs to work together to offer a greater choice of care and support by using person-centred planning and perhaps direct payments. Accessible and up-to-date information needs to be available too, so that people can make good decisions.
