The Children's Disability Team and the Children's Learning Disability Nursing Team works with children aged 0 to 18 who have a severe learning disability, or moderate learning disability and more complex medical, physical or sensory impairment and/or behaviour that challenges.
The teams can offer guidance and support on a range of issues:
They may be able to give advice if someone's needs do not seem to be met by existing services.

The Children's Disability Team consists of 6 specialist social workers based at the following offices:

Children's Learning Disability Nursing Team The team completes holistic health assessments and health action plans. They work with specific issues such as behaviour, continence, sleep and sexuality. Anyone can make a referral to the team. Contact Nicci Isaac (Team Leader)
