Courses at Connect in the North, Leeds

Connect in the North regularly run courses on a wide variety of issues related to learning disability.

Forthcoming courses include:

• 'Training Your Staff to Understand about Being Person Centred' on 28th March 2007, 4th April 2007, 10th April 2007 and 17th April 2007 from 10am - 3pm.
  
  This free four-day course will help you learn more about person centred planning. Lunch will be provided.
  
  
• 'Person Centred Thinking and Reviews' on Tuesday 13th March 2007.
  
  This is a one day workshop, costing £10, for people working in Leeds. It will help you to work out whether a person centred plan is an appropriate tool. Participants should have already been on a 'Person Centred Awareness Training' course.
  
  
• 'Making Choices' on Thursday 5th April 2007 from 10am to 3.30pm.
  
  This course is about taking control of your life and your support and is for people with a learning disability. Lunch will be provided.
