Many benefits can be paid directly into a bank account. You can ask about this at your local Benefits Agency office.
If you are unable to get to the Post Office to cash your order book, you can nominate someone called an agent, to do this for you.
If you are not able to deal with your benefits yourself then someone close to you can be made your appointee by the Benefits Agency.
Your agent or appointee can only act for you for benefit purposes.
