Time For Carers Scheme

This scheme provides grants to carers to help them get a break from caring, and to offer the right support for the person they care for.

Carers can receive up to £350. Some examples of what carers can use the grants for include:

• A weekend break or holiday
• A college course
• An evening class or social evening

Applications need to be made from carers with the support of an agent - this could be a GP, support worker, or someone who has regular involvement with you.
