The Beautiful Octopus Club


The nightclub run by people with learning disabilities. Thursday 15th March 2005 from 7pm to midnight at Club Evolution, Cardigan Fields Leisure Complex, Kirkstall.

Chinese New Year Festival, West Yorkshire Playhouse


Sunday 13 February 2005, from 12pm to 4pm. The day includes traditional lion dancing, stage shows, a Karaoke competition, lantern-making workshops, Tai Chi classes and food stalls.

Autism Awareness Days

There are several information days in March about autistic spectrum disorder. Each day has sessions on different issues. These include:


The days are for parents and carers, as well as professionals. They start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm and they are free.
