Living Potential Care Farming CIC

Living Potential Care Farming CIC at Carlshead Farm is based near Wetherby on a stunning 500 acre working farm.

They offer daily activities both indoors and outdoors. As a member of the team, you can look after small animals such as guinea pigs and chickens. You can feed the sheep and cows.

You can also do gardening, grow your own fruit, flowers, and vegetables. There is a polytunnel and raised beds on the farm.

You can cook in the kitchen using the farm produce. This can be taken to sell at a market or the farm shop.

There is also an arts and crafts room at the farm.

Carlshead Care Farm also offers activities and courses.

Outdoors activities and courses include,

  • Farm Animal Care.
  • Horticulture.
  • Cooking.
  • Fishing.
  • Woodland walks.
  • Soft archery.
  • Photography.

Indoors activities and courses include,

  • Arts and crafts.
  • Cookery.
  • Basketry.
  • Music and movement.
  • Literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

All the course centre around helping people with life skills. You will have the opportunity for training and qualifications.

There is a warm and welcoming centre on the farm in our converted barns and a new oak barn in the woods with all the necessary facilities for a great day out on the farm.
