Specialist Autism Services

Specialist Autism Services delivers a strengths based Autism specific personalised learning programme, to develop social, communication and employment skills which empower our members to engage with new opportunities, make informed choices, achieve their goals, maximising independence and inclusion.

The services they offer include:

• Social skills learning programme - a structured programme of daily small group social skills workshops.
• Autism First - person-centred support for adults with Autism who may also have a learning disability and/or additional needs.
• Employment - an autism-specific employment programme supporting people aiming to find employment and progress towards their work-related goals.
• A weekly social skills evening.
• Autism Hubs providing information, signposting and peer support.
• Autism Reach - an online service for people with Autism who don’t have any Autism specific support services within their reach.
• Community outreach providing personalised support for people to seek new experiences and work towards their personal goals.
• Autism training - tailored autism awareness training for organisations, agencies and professionals working with individuals on the autistic spectrum.
• Developing social enterprises across Yorkshire that provide meaningful employment experiences for adults with Autism.
