The Volunteer Centre is based in Leeds City Centre in the food court area of Leeds Kirkgate Market. They are open for appointments Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm. Appointments should be booked in advance. Bookings can be made by emailing volunteering@val.org.uk, or over the phone on 0113 244 6050, or by text on 07340 323 190.
Volunteering is a great way for you to build your confidence and experience in a workplace before applying for a paid job.
If you or someone you support would like help to find a suitable volunteering opportunity please phone or email them. The centre also supports groups and organisations who would like to host volunteers but are not sure about the process and how to go about it.
