People Matters social groups
Social Groups in Leeds for adults who have a learning disability or are autistic.
People Matters social groups support people to learn new skills, become more independent, have fun and make friends.
The groups run on a Tuesday and Thursday evening 7-9 pm. They have 15 members in each group. Two members of staff from People Matters support the group and coordinate the programmes of activities.
The groups are member led, meaning the members choose the activities they do. Popular choices are meals, going to pop world, bowling and pool but we love to try new things. There is a membership fee of £20 a month and members also pay for their activities.
